Mendy specialises in real estate law, with a focus on all aspects of tenancy law. 
She advises and litigates on behalf of developers, property managers and housing associations, among others, on tenancy law-related matters, such as the qualification of leases and other agreements, defects, renovation and redevelopment, rent adjustment, succession of tenancy, liveability and lease termination.

Mendy studied Dutch Law, Business Law and Private Law at the University of Groningen. She has been working as a lawyer since December 2017. In September 2024, Mendy joined Straatman Koster advocaten.

Mendy is a member of the Association of Tenancy Law Attorneys (Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten, ‘VHA’). In 2022, she completed the specialist programme provided by the VHA with honours.
