Lidwien specialises in project development and contract law. From the start of her career, she has focused in her practice on drafting and reviewing a wide variety of contracts.
Lidwien specialises in the drafting and reviewing of large-scale area and project development-related contracts as well as assisting in negotiation processes. Letters of intent, cooperation agreements, anterior agreements as well as turnkey and other sale and purchase agreements fall within the scope of her drafting and reviewing expertise. Her clients include developers, building contractors, public authorities and investors.
Lidwien studied Dutch law, specialising in civil law and corporate law, at Leiden University. She also completed the Grotius specialist programmes in National and International Contracting (with honours), General Administrative Law and Information Law (with honours).
Lidwien started her career in the legal profession at NautaDutilh. She then worked as a lawyer at Loyens & Loeff. After that, she gained experience within a political-administrative environment and worked as an employed lawyer at a large municipality (G4). Lidwien has worked at Straatman Koster advocaten since 2021, where she was appointed partner in 2024.
