Frederik specialises in procurement law and construction law in the broadest sense. He litigates and advises in these fields and acts on behalf of principals as well as contractors.
Frederik graduated from Leiden University in 1998. He then joined De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Since January 2008, Frederik has been working as a partner at Straatman Koster advocaten.
Frederik regularly publishes on current developments in public procurement law and is a co-author of *Public Procurement Law*, the legal handbook in this field. He also frequently speaks at seminars and courses for the Institute for Construction Law, the VU Law Academy, the Grotius Academy, the Institute for International Research, and the Study Center for Business and Government. In addition, Frederik is a member of the Association for Construction Law and the Dutch Association for Public Procurement Law.
