At Straatman Koster advocaten, Elise focuses on construction and procurement law and EU & state aid law. Her work mainly consists of advising and litigating on procurement law issues such as the preparation of the procurement procedure, the assessment of tenders and the award decision. She also advises and litigates in the field of scarce rights, such as land sales by the government (Didam judgment).
Elise graduated in 2022 from Leiden University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Law, with an emphasis on real estate law. While studying, she worked as a student trainee and legal assistant at Straatman Koster advocaten, focusing on various legal areas within construction law and real estate law.
Elise joined Straatman Koster advocaten as a lawyer in February 2023.
Elise is a member of the Rotterdam Young Bar Association and the Dutch Association for Procurement Law (NVvA).
