Elise advises and litigates on matters relating to construction law, public procurement law, and tenancy law. Her practice primarily focuses on public procurement issues, including the preparation of procurement procedures, the assessment of tenders, and the award decisions. She also advises and litigates in the field of limited public rights (schaarse rechten), such as the sale of land by public authorities (Didam ruling). Additionally, she has experience in advising on construction and tenancy law-related disputes.
Elise graduated in 2022 from Leiden University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Law, with an emphasis on real estate law. While studying, she worked as a student trainee and legal assistant at Straatman Koster advocaten, focusing on various legal areas within construction law and real estate law.
Elise joined Straatman Koster advocaten as a lawyer in February 2023.
Elise is a member of the Rotterdam Young Bar Association and the Dutch Association for Procurement Law (NVvA).
