Hugo Strang effective April 1, 2023 partner
Hugo Strang has been appointed partner in construction law at Straatman Koster advocaten in Rotterdam effective April 1, 2023.
Hugo specializes in construction law and procurement law. He advises both clients and contractors in these areas of law, including on contracting, consulting, integrated, construction team and coordination agreements, and regularly litigates in both the civil courts and the Council of Arbitration.
In addition to his work in practice, Hugo is co-author of, among others, Bouwrecht in kort bestek, the Groene Serie Bijzondere overeenkomsten and the Groene Serie Onrechtmatige daad, is a member of the editorial board of the Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht and regularly publishes in legal journals. He also gives courses and presentations on construction law in particular, including for the Institute for Construction Law and the Grotius specialization course in Real Estate.
Hugo's appointment is in line with Straatman Koster advocaten's ambition to further expand its construction law practice.
